PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course
The PADI Advanced Open Water course is designed to give an open water diver additional skills and experience under the direct supervision of PADI Instructors and Divemasters.
The course has a heap of benefits. You obtain a qualification to dive to 30m, and an introduction to specialty dives. This qualification will allow you to come with our club members on a wider variety of dives and join the fun! The other main benefit is to gain extra supervised dive experience in Wreck Diving, Night Diving, Navigation Diving and Peak Performance Buoyancy Skills making you a better, more competent diver.
The Advanced Open Water course is run over a Friday night (theory) and then a weekend at the beach. You’ll complete five dives in total, three on the Saturday from the shore and two boat dives on Sunday. You’ll complete the five core dives below:
PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver
PADI Navigation Adventure Diver
PADI Night Adventure Diver
PADI Deep Adventure Diver
PADI Wreck or Drift Diver
The courses are run every month throughout the year. To start all you need is a $150 deposit and you can begin your course. We’ll issue you with a PADI Adventures in Diving Online Manual, you’ll complete seven Knowledge Reviews on the above topics, and we will correct them on the theory night.

What will I need?
Everyone needs their own personal diving items of mask, snorkel, fins and boots. We will supply a BCD, Regulator, Wetsuit, tanks and weights.
